Dallas, Texas – Grassy Knoll View (HDR)

While digging through some old pics yesterday I found this shot from Dallas, TX.  I was standing on the lawn next to the hedges on the famous “Grassy Knoll” where President Kennedy was shot years ago.  Its quite odd visiting such a place..but that is what history is all about.  There is even an “X” on the road where it happened.   I recently watched an updated conspiracy theory show on the shooting. With updated technology they proved that there was only one shooter….Oswald.  It was obvious that he was hired for the assignation…but by who?  The US Government or the Mob?  After all these years…we will probably never know.   If Jack Bauer was around then..this crime would have been solved in twenty four hours!! LOL

Dallas, Texas – Galleria XMas Tree (Trail Light Effect)

XMas lights are always a great and easy subject for the “Trail” light effect!  As long as you have a zoom lens…set your shutter speed to a 1-3 second exposure and after clicking the shutter…zoom in or out of the lights and you can get some cool effects!  A tripod helps!!  This shot was from the big Christmas Tree located in Dallas at the Galleria Shopping mall.  You can even do this on your own tree at home…or the holiday lights outside!  Have fun during the holidays!!  Hope Santa brings you that new camera or lens you are hoping for!!
