Hope you all had a wonderful 4th!!! Here are some fireworks I shot from our local show last nite. We were a bit aways, but I thought the treeline would add a cool bit of interest to the shot! Enjoy!!

Fall has probably arrived in your location and the weather is now getting chilly…so why not post a nice summer shot from Walt Disney World! Can’t top these fireworks. Makes me want to go on vacation with the family right now! If you ever want to work on your firework shots…this is the place to visit! The show lasts about 10 minutes and you can fire off lots o shots! Just make sure your tripod is set up and ready to go! Also, find a good location where no people can trip on your gear and that you can avoid getting the top of their heads in your photo. Good luck! Have a blast!!

A shot from a few weeks ago during the “Wishes Night Time Spectacular”. This firework show is one of the best…but it goes by fast! I rushed to get as many shots a s possible! This was one of my favorite shots from the nite!
I’ll keep this post short…catching up on another trip. Seems like airplanes are a close second home these days. More cool pics to come soon! I went to SuperCross in Houston this past Saturday nite….I was excited to shoot the races!!
I added a few changes today to the blog. I am working on updating it. Next big step is to increase the blog size so I can post larger photos! …hopefully very soon! I see everyone coming out with IPad Screensavers. I’ll get some up by April end. My plan is to offer them as a FREE download on my Talke Photography web site! I’ll pick out 10 to start with. I’ll post a note here when they are set! While I am at it…how about a few IPhone Screensavers as well at the same time! =) Have fun!

One year ago today Places 2 Explore was created! Amazing how time flies when you are having fun! I started the blog not knowing where it will lead and now at the 1 year point, it has been amazing! Thanks to all the steady readers or even to the one person that just visited only once! Without you, this blog would be a bump on a log.
I truly love this blog and hope you do as well? I keep pushing the limits of my photography by improving daily and trying different styles and methods. In the past year my HDR skills have been growing! I added IR photography into my portfolio and love what it can offer! So what lies ahead for year 2? More of everything!!!! I’ll add more sports, portraits, macro, HDR’s and IR shots! Just about anything I can shoot. My home studio is in the works (halfway done!)…I’d love to try product photos as well!
Sales of my photos have been going crazy recently! Any cool photo placement will be noted here! Don’t forget, I am here to help…any questions you may have send em my way! I hopefully can help or give you advice!
