Palo Alto « Places 2 Explore

Thanks to my buddy Horace Kwan for his great HDR…of me HDR’ing! We were at Stanford University early AM recently and grabbed a few shots. Little did I know Horace was taking my shot…sorry for moving a bit!!! Very cool Horace!!! Our main target was the Stanford Memorial Church….coming in HDR soon! My gear in this shot – Manfrotto Carbon Fiber Tripod, Think Tank Backpack, Nikon D300, Nikon 12-24 f/4 lens and an old HDR Photographer under the baseball cap! LOL I get to SF so much…if you live in town…let me know and you can join us next time!! (Marianne hope you can join us one day!!??) Just let me know.

While in Northern CA last week. We took an early Am visit to Stanford University. I have a cool HDR coming soon! But as my buddy Horace Kwan and I were walking through the courtyard, there were these nice palm trees around. We even saw a portrait photographer taking shots of a couple….the grounds are beautiful. I can recall snapping this and telling Horace…hey even a simple Palm Tree looks cool in IR! So here it is…a minimalist Palm Tree shot! Infrared shots with Palm trees are a great combo! What roads have Palm Trees lining them….now that would be a sweet shot! Hmmm…Beverly Hills, Palm Springs, anywhere else??? Time to try that shot next in IR! If I can find it. Have fun!
