Las Vegas, Nevada – Excalibur Hotel (HDR)

One more from Vegas…as the sign says…”Cheap Food, Cold Booze, Live Music”….thats why its tough not to love Vegas. The Excalibur is one of the hotels when you see it you say to yourself cool…but for an HDR…its white…not so cool. White subjects in HDR often turn grayish. I was walking back to my hotel passing by and I just wanted to catch a different view. Above is what I captured. Not bad Excalibur! ..and HDR at Knight!

Las Vegas, Nevada – New York NY Hotel

Sometimes what you happen to photograph in Vegas, does not stay photographed in Vegas!  …It pops up on the interweb!  LOL  Here is New York New York Hotel in the blue hour.  I love this hotel…a perfect subject to photograph! That roller coaster has given me vertigo a few times!  The sad effect of getting old.  Have a great weekend!

Las Vegas, Nevada – The Venetian Hotel (HDR)

From the super photogenic hotel…the Venetian in Las Vegas…this is the entry area.  Quite stunning!  I has posted other shots form here and for this one as well…had to people dodge for a while!   I have never stayed here…but hear it is wonderful!  I miss all the lights and people after leaving Vegas.  Each time I go, I see more and more potential photographs.   That means more visits!  Now Photoshop World in Vegas one year sounds like a plan!  =)  On a side note..I processed this with Photomatix.  I chose Photomatix over NIK’s HDR Efex Pro for the first time!  In my opinion, any photo with a high amount of golden tones may have to be put through Photomatix.  NIK’s version of this shot was not as good.  Of course your choice.  Once in a blue moon I may still use Photomatix.    Have fun!
