Farming in Infrared

IR Farm Equipment? Why not? I was cruising by this farm one day in upstate New York and pulled over on the side of the road and grabbed this shot. Not sure how it would turn out? Looks cool in IR! Roadside shots are always a fun part of being a photographer. How many great shots have you taken just by pulling over? Once you have the “photographers eye”…as you travel anywhere (car, plane, train)…how many times have you said to yourself, “That would be a great photo!” If you have your camera with you…pull over and take that shot! You will be happy you did!

Austin, TX – Infrared

It has been one long hot summer in Texas. We have had 84 days over 100 degrees and may have a few more before the summer is over. Crazy! I watch those Coors Light commercials and the train comes by and makes it ice cold. Boy do we need it in Texas! Time to open a cold one! So I had posted this shot back in April in standard IR. Many people that see IR for the first time always say it looks like snow. So why not take the shot and make it look like a snow storm in Austin. Here is an IR shot that really is snowy! I did this using the channel mixer, a texture, and onOne Photo Tools 2.6 snow filter. Have a cool day!!
