Orlando, FL – Kennedy Space Center – Rock It! (HDR)

If you are ever in Orlando, FL for vacation one great site to see is the Kennedy Space Center. I have been there a few times and love taking the tour. The shot above is from the Apollo/Saturn V Center. Awe inspiring place to visit. The Apollo and Saturn are great subjects for HDR! Enjoy!

All Aboard to Hogwarts! (HDR)

I did enjoy the Harry Potter movies/books…although some were very slow. The last movie was fantastic! I give J.K. Rowling credit…Hogwarts is a great idea. Can you imagine catching a train there? Would be an adventure! I have taken a few old train shots and wanted to make this one seem like it came from a Harry Potter movie. It was fun creating…about 6 textures (including one with smoke) + oneOne’s Photo Tools + Nik…basically used all I have! I whipped up a bit of Photoshop Wizardry. You can find this train in downtown Orlando. Enjoy!

Orlando, FL – Lake Eola (Infrared)

From the lovely Lake Eola right near downtown Orlando, this was taken at sunset. Orlando is known for its amusement parks and I must admit I lived about 30 minutes north of Orlando for a few years…trying to find shots other than Disney, etc…is kinda tough! At least now you know to visit this wonderful view next time you are out!

I processed this one in B&W with the new onOne Perfect Effects 3….this new software rocks. Uh oh…looks like my usage of NIK’s Software had faded a bit. Will give my full review next week!

Orlando, FL – Swan Lake? (HDR)

From Orlando, FL I visited a local lake that is lovely, but saw these swan rides all tied up as it was late in the evening. After walking by these swans all I could think about is this shot in HDR processed with a grunge look. That mold adds to the shot. Now I hate to talk bad about any location unless deserved, but do people actually ride these swans during the day on this lake? Yikes!! I’ll tell you the location if you ask in the comments. I know the grunge look enhances the grittyness, but even in standard mode theses ride are gross. I’d drop off a jar of Oxy Mold if that would help!

Orlando, Florida – Cinderella’s Castle (HDR)

Sorry it has been slow on P2E..I just got back last nite from a 10 day trip. Great to be home! …back to normal next week!

Tough not to pass up on one of the top family destinations in the world! Even as an adult I love Disney! When I was a kid, Sunday evening was the Disney movie of the week at 7 PM. We’d sit at home an watch something like Escape From Witch Mountian and the get ready for bed as school was the next day. Kudos Walt!

Orlando, Florida – Sunset Silhouette

For some reason I love just about any silhouette photo.  Especially if its sunset with a cool sky!  This was taken at the parking lot from Downtown Disney.  I was walking from the car and looked up and decided to take the photo!  The great thing about photography…you can take pics anywhere!!

Orlando, FL – Leu Gardens (Infrared)

It feels good to post an IR shot!  Been a few weeks.  Sorry for keeping them aside for a bit.  Here is an IR from the lovely Leu Gardens near downtown Orlando. I had fun shooting IR that day.  It is where I took my first IR Wedding shots!   I just received my new converted IR “Super Color” camera.   I did some test shots in my backyard.  So different!  I’ll run out this week in the late afternoon and try few shots.  You will see it here first!  Have fun!
