Key West, Florida

Here is a photo from Key West, Florida.  Seems as though this winter is too long!   When will summer arrive?   Hopefully soon!  It was near sunset on the beach and I snapped this shot.  Typical laid back easy going Key West.  We enjoyed our stay here.  We rented scooters and had lots of fun around the island.  If you like going to the beach, relaxing and eating at beach style restaurants…then Key West is for you! Key West also contains the furthest southern point in the US!   There is a litte marker there and maybe you can see Cuba in the distance?  Not really.   Sunsets in Key West are amazing!!

Grabbed from the web: If you have never been here before, you are in for a real treat. There is a Key West attraction for every person. Some of the finest saltwater fishing is in Key West. Whether you are an avid fly fisherman looking for the thrill of sight casting to tarpon as they cross a beautiful sandy flat in the Key West backcountry, or off shore doing some deep sea fishing and thinking about your fresh seafood dinner at one of our fine Key West restaurants. Enjoy a relaxing trip on a smaller charter to view dolphins in the wild or to kayak in the back country off Key West.

I grew up in the North East and Florida was our getaway spot!  Florida is a vacation spot that is tough to beat in the US.   With Orlando, Tampa, Miami, Jacksonville and the Keys…many places 2 explore!

I enjoyed reading your blog on Key West. If I may make a recommendation, visit my shop the Saltwater Angler online at http://saltwaterangler.com/key-west/fishing/ or call us at 1-800-223-1629. We book flats fishing, offshore fishing and light tackle offshore.
