Austin, Texas – Skyline (HDR-Infrared)

The other day I posted the Stevie Ray Vaughan photo.  Now here is the view in the opposite direction!   Quite stunning!   Austin has some wonderful photo locations.   This is a top spot.  I also took some night HDR’s…but liked this shot the best.   The bridge in the photo is the famous Congress Ave. Bridge where the bats fly from in the summer!  I admit to touching up and taking out a crane on the top of one building.  Supposedly the skyline will be crane free next year?    Austin is always growing…so I am not sure I believe it will ever be crane free!    To take care of touch up I typically use the “patch” tool in Photoshop.   Ever since trying HDR-IR’s…I am hooked!   Sadly my Nikon D70S only takes 3 brackets…but it still works out well!     Enjoy!
