NIKON D300, Nikon 18-200 VR, HDR in Photomatix
Here is my first HDR of Big Ben…when I visited London recently – this was my number one target for an HDR. Even better – the day was very cloudy and gray. Cloud cover when shooting and HDR gives the photo such feeling. It was sprinkling this day and I had to wipe off my lens numerous times.
I think I HDR’ed the heck out of Big Ben this day. So far this is the only HDR I have processed from London. I took about 25 different angles of the building. I may even have a better shot? I’ll work on these later on. I fought the crowds with my tripod and used 5 exposures and a cable release. When its crazy and I am using a tripod one thing I alway do is – even when my camera is mounted to the tripod I keep the strap around my neck. Just in case if someone trips on my tripod…my camera is saved!
Prepare for a bunch of London shots later in the week. Cheers!
