San Diego, CA – Balboa Park (HDR)

A little California Dreamin’ from the lovely San Diego, CA…here is a textured shot of Balboa Park.   This was an early AM photo form a few weeks back.  Such a beautiful place!  Lots to do…bring the family and kids!  I hope to get back this summer and really check it out.  This shot is of the reflective Lily Pond.  The Spanish Design of this Park is amazing.  The details on the building are eye candy indeed!    Here you can fin the San Diego Zoo, Museums, Gardens, and lots more!   Click this park Map to see it all!

Info from the web:   Many of the park’s attractions are along El Prado, a long, wide promenade running through the center of the park. Most of the buildings lining this street are in the Spanish Colonial Revival style, a richly ornamented eclectic mixture of Spanish and Latin American architecture. Along this boulevard are many of the park’s museums and cultural attractions, including the San Diego Museum of Man, the San Diego Museum of Art, the Museum of Photographic Arts, the San Diego Art Institute the San Diego Model Railroad Museum, the Natural History Museum, the San Diego Historical Society, the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center, and the Timken Museum of Art where admission is always free. Other features along El Prado include the Reflection Pond, the latticed Botanical Building, and the Bea Evenson Fountain. Adjacent to the promenade is the San Diego Air & Space Museum.

Can you do some kind of tutorial on how you use the textures with you photos. I have tried it but cant seem to get the effects you get. Thanks

  6. Beautiful pictures and thanks for sharing. There are plenty of things to see and do, just like gardens, museums, zoo, etc and the most attractions are still FREE. We really love this place and don’t miss during trip.

    Best Regards,
